Cozy Shack is a creative hive of recording, music production and live music video nestled in the heart of downtown Nanaimo, BC. We have state of the art equipment, producers, engineers, editors, musicians, voices and access to the best talent on Vancouver Island and beyond.

But most importantly we're easy and fun to work with and we know how to make you look and sound your best. From rough demo to finished "air play ready release", The Cozy Shack is a great place for you to consider your next project.

Bruce Gerrish

The Cozy Shack is the musical home of

Bruce Gerrish,singer/musician, award winning songwriter and audio and video producer who operates under the banner of Cozy Shack Productions.

Bruce has worked on recent projects for The Nanaimo Jazz Festival, The Nanaimo Blues Society, Vancouver City Limits and is the former Artistic Director for The Islands Folk Festival.Bruce has produced a wide variety of aspiring artists and songwriters .

John Ellis

The Cozy Shack is also the musical home of John Ellis, award winning producer and multi-instrumentalist, who operates his own MacArthur Park Productions out of Cozy Shack Studios.

John has lent his talents to a number of high reaching stars such as The Be Good Tanyas, Colin James, Bruce Cockburn, Jim Byrnes, Doc Walker, Jeremy Fisher, Tom Jackson, Charlie Major, George Canyon, Doug & The Slugs, Barney Bentall, Ridley Bent, Leeroy Stagger, Ferron, and Jane Siberry.
